Year 7 students were set the ambitious challenge of recreating a model of a medieval castle, to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of William the Conqueror and the methods he used to control England after 1066. The department was overwhelmed with the high standard of castles. The level of detail in many models was particularly impressive, with some castles featuring animals and workers, while others featured hand drawn detailing to represent the stone and brickwork. The winners of the competition were:
Motte and Bailey Castle- Dana Mohammed
Stone Keep Castle- Bishayer Al Zaabi
Congratulations to and all Year 7 students. Well done!
